Be sure to schedule your summer and early fall professional development to help you integrate these tools into your instruction. |
English
Two years in development, a groundbreaking interactive tool, the Writing Reviser, will help English students ask the kinds of questions experienced writers ask automatically. Students will be prompted to consider revisions at every level of the writing process—from micro issues involving words, phrases, clauses, and sentence structure to macro issues involving paragraph development and overall organization. The ultimate goal is to develop the kind of judgment (as opposed to mere mechanical competence) that is essential to effective communication. |

Standards-mapping
Ongoing enhancements to our standards-mapping feature will give teachers a new two-way option. Teachers can now verify which state standard a Curriculum Pathways lesson or resource addresses, or they can select a state standard and navigate to lessons or activities related to it.
